An elegant chain-type bracelet made of gold-plated (1/20 12K Gold-Filled) metal. This is an example of old American jewelry, dating back to around 1930-1950. The “Gold-Filled” technology provides a strong, long-lasting layer of gold, which retains a warm hue even after many years. The chain-type bracelet features hand-soldering, typical of early to mid-20th century pieces. The clasp has worn marking fragments, typical of the 1/20 12K GF marking - standard practice of the period. The original clasp works perfectly. It is a delicate “wheat / espiga” weave pattern.
