Luxury “costume jewelry” designer from New York, who created jewelry for celebrities and fashion magazines (e.g., “Vogue”). His works often combine motifs from ancient civilizations (e.g., Egypt, Rome, Renaissance) with a modern silhouette. These earrings are considered collectible – Ben-Amun coin jewelry is rare, and their design is visually very recognizable. This is a great example of the 1980s “statement” jewelry aesthetic.
