Silver filigree – these are detailed, flower-shaped, spherical earrings, very characteristic of Monet’s 1960–1970 period. This design is reminiscent of motifs inspired by Baroque or even Portuguese filigree. Such earrings are valued for their meticulous work and decorativeness. The “Monet” marking was used around 1955–early 1960s, before the © symbol was widely used. This font – graceful, etched into the metal, indicates that these are authentic early “Monet” clips, from a period when Monet was still strongly oriented towards high-quality plating and filigree designs.
