This gold-plated brooch is set with artificial pearls, depicting a composition of flowers or blossoms. The gold-plated metal with a combination of matte and shiny surfaces is typical of high-quality Boucher jewelry. In Boucher pieces, the model numbers allow us to determine the period: numbers from 8000 to 9000 were mainly used around 1955-1965. The model “8370P” falls into this interval, so this brooch was most likely made around 1958-1961.
