The crown over T is the so-called “Crown Trifari” mark. The font style and position indicate the classic models of the late 1940s-1955. The crown over T is a characteristic mark used from 1937-1955, when the “Trifari” brand was acquired and developed by designer Alfred Philippe, a former jeweler at Cartier. The mark is called “Crown Trifari” and is considered by collectors to be the most sought-after Trifari era, when jewelry can be sold at auctions for an exceptionally high price.
