This is a handmade silver bracelet with a large amber insert – probably Baltic amber. The marking “925” means that the metal is silver (92.5% silver). The bracelet is in the Art Nouveau / Modernist style (typical of French design – especially organic, flowing lines, plant motifs and artistic freedom). The amber is natural, with clear structures of inclusions – inclusions, which increases the value. Amber is not a native mineral in France, so most likely: the amber was imported from the Baltic countries (Lithuania, Poland), and the jewelry was created by the hands of a French jeweler working with natural stones. This is very typical of studio jewelry masters who use unique signs – often just symbols or abstract forms of initials. The quality of the work is high – it is clear that this is not mass production, but artistic work with carefully formed metal. Marking: diagonal line and letter “K”.
