Composition: silver Condition: very good Measurements: size adjustable Color: silver Marking: “Sterling, I” Country: USA Period: 1960-1980 Market value: 150-200 EUR
This is a massive, minimalist design silver "collar" necklace made of "sterling" silver (925), decorated with a subtle geometric (grid) engraving motif on the front. The engraved part gives it a structural contrast compared to the smooth polished surface. The "I" mark is most likely a master's stamp. In US practice from the 1960s to the 1980s, such single-letter stamps were common - especially on export products from small studios, local jewelers, or Native American/Taxco workshops.
