An elegant and well-preserved mid-20th century vintage jewelry set consisting of a short necklace (choker) and clip-on earrings. The jewelry is made of gold-plated metal, distinguished by a textured woven mesh link and geometric accents. The necklace and clips are decorated with dark brown rectangular baguette cut crystals surrounded by smaller faceted stones. The stones resemble a smoked topaz shade - a classic tone of warm elegance, extremely popular in the 1950s. This could be a set from Coro or Napier, judging by the style and type of clasps, which are identical to the models of that period. Such a combination of weave and clips was used only by high-quality manufacturers - Coro, Napier and Trifari - so this set is a great example of mid-20th century American costume jewelry, combining engineering precision and Art Deco-inspired geometry. Unmarked jewelry was intended for export, especially to Europe.
