An elegant vintage ring made of 925 sterling silver. In the center is a rich green stone, typical of the German and Austrian Art Deco traditions. It can be natural green agate or chrysoprase - both of these stones were widely used in marcasite jewelry from the 1930s to 1950s.The ring is decorated with hand-set antique marcasites arranged in an openwork ornament of the Art Deco period. The design is massive, with an extended upper plane typical of German manufacturers. On the inner band there is an antique pentagonal master mark ("hut" shape), in which two letters are visible, one of which is like an L. Such marks were used by the masters of Pforzheim, Germany, in the 1930s to 1955s. This is confirmed by both the design of the ring and the marcasite cutting technique.
