This vintage butterfly brooch is marked “©Pastelli”. Pastelli Jewelry Co. Inc. was an American jewelry manufacturer that operated from the late 1950s to the late 1980s. It was famous for its enameled jewelry, especially nature motifs: flowers, leaves, butterflies. The jewelry was often made of gold-plated metal, with a semi-transparent “guilloché” style enamel (as in this brooch).
